Within wet food is made using a retort process — the same commercial sterilisation method used for baby food. Each tray is sealed before cooking, then raised to 121.2°C under pressure inside the pack.
Cooking in-pack means the food is never exposed to open air after cooking. There's no risk of post-cook contamination, no need for preservatives, and nothing is lost in the process. The natural flavour, moisture, and nutritional value of the ingredients are locked in from the moment the tray is sealed.
The result is food that is commercially sterile, shelf-stable, and as nutritionally intact as it is safe.
