Yes, all of our current wet food recipes contain fresh chicken as a base ingredient. This is a deliberate choice based on both nutrition and sustainability.

Fresh chicken provides highly digestible protein, naturally occurring minerals and valuable connective tissue. By combining chicken with other meat or fish sources across our recipes, we can also provide a broader and more balanced amino acid profile than would typically be achieved from a single protein source alone.

For the vast majority of healthy dogs, feeding a variety of animal proteins can be nutritionally beneficial and reflects the diversity of ingredients found in many high-quality complete diets. While single-protein diets can be important for dogs with confirmed food reactions, allergies or those following an elimination diet, they are not inherently better for healthy dogs.

Our chicken is sourced fresh, giving us excellent traceability and a short supply chain, while helping us make efficient use of high-quality animal ingredients. Together, these choices support both the quality of our food and our approach to sustainability.
